Spice and Ice Flow is a Vinyasa/Yin blended practice that begins with a flowing Vinyasa sequence, connecting breath with movement and promoting strength, flexibility and cardiovascular health. The Vinyasa flow is energetic, building heat and engaging muscles while focusing on alignment and breath awareness. We'll begin to transition into Yin yoga where the pace slows significantly and shapes are held for longer duration (4-5 min) allowing the body to cool and release, targeting the deep connective tissues. This practice promotes improved flexibility, strength and balance from the Vinyasa flow as well as increased circulation, joint health and enhanced mental clarity from Yin.
This class is suitable for all levels of practice, offering modification and variations to accommodate each students individual needs. Students leave feeling rejuvenated, balanced, and grounded, having experienced the harmony of dynamic and deep restorative practices.
